Color this week’s turtles

Two pages from Color the Shell, free to print. Grab the crayons and color a real turtle. A new pair lands every Tuesday.

This week’s pages

  • Seagrass snack! (TT-01, Green Sea Turtle): Grown-up green sea turtles eat seagrass and algae. That’s what makes them green! Turtle Challenge: Try using only shades of green for this turtle! Read the true facts.
  • Hello, reef! (TT-02, Hawksbill Sea Turtle): Hawksbills use their pointed beaks to find food in reefs. They eat sponges that are toxic to most other sea creatures! Turtle Challenge: Draw a colorful coral reef near the turtle! Read the true facts.

Two new pages every Tuesday. All 26 turtles are in Color the Shell. Print at 100%. Black and white is perfect. Crayons, markers, and pencils all work.

Show us your shell

Grown-ups, we’d love to see a colored turtle. Email one photo of the finished page to lee@gomaxq.com. Please include the child’s first name and age, plus one line saying you’re the parent or guardian and OK with Turtle Tuesday sharing the picture with a first name and age.

A few ground rules

  • Lay the page flat so only the page shows, with no faces, hands, or last names.
  • Free printable pages count, so you don’t need the book.
  • We pick for fun, never for best coloring, because every shell is a good shell.
  • We never share a last name, school, or town.
  • If you change your mind, write us and it comes down the same day.
  • Photos we don’t share get deleted within 30 days.

No sign-up. No ads. Just turtles.
